As with all of Uhlmann VisioTec's integrated inspection systems, VisioLeak offers an excellent basis for pharmaceutical manufacturing in accordance with process analytical technology (PAT): for real-time and high-speed monitoring of the in-process materials during the manufacturing process.

Testing is carried out using vacuum and mechanical precision pressure. The vacuum causes the lid foil to arch and sensors measure whether a loss of pressure takes place when force is applied. If this is the case, the pocket has a leak and the blister is immediately removed from the process. VisioLeak testing has no adverse effect on the products - no damage, contamination or destruction takes place.
